My 6.3 has a factory installed tow package with an Oris hitch. The instructions are in German. I'm looking for the weight limits, and I believe this sentence contains it. Could someone please translate it?

Untertürkheim, mit einem zulässigen gesamtgewicht bis 2400 kg, einer zulässigen anhängelast bis 1500 kg und einer sulässaigen stutz-last bis 75 kg.

Untertürkheim, with a permissible total weight of up to 2400 kg, a permissible trailer load of up to 1500 kg and a sultry load of up to 75 kg.

I am hoping that "sultry load of up to 75 kg" means a limit on the tongue weight. That or maybe the trailer has a really nice smile?

You are correct CTH. Amazingly high. Usually cars with trailer hitches had a 50 Stuetzlast - tonge weight - sticker on them. Must be heavy duty.

I've always found it funny that Mercedes specifically advised against putting a towing package on the 6.3, yet they show a 6.3 towing a trailer in factory literature and would install it upon request. Go figure.
