Guys, Since I am having the Radiator re-built I am planning to exchange all the water hoses, even though they look OK. For this I'll be taking the right hand intake manifolds. Since this is my first time so wanted to know any tips to avoid any self inflicted wounds:
a - What all gaskets or seals will i need to pre-order?
b - Is is safe to just take the injection lines off and leave the injectors in the manifold?
c - The manifolds were last taken off in 2010 by Hann for re-building the pump, so I am expecting the bolts to come off fairly easy.
d - The front seal is OK, there are no leaks.

Technically if you're only removing the one intake manifold you would only need 4 intake manifold gaskets.

If you're planning to replace the two hoses at the front of the engine between the thermostat housing and the 2 coolant elbows feeding the front of the heads you may need to remove the thermostat housing and therefore need that gasket. I'm not sure how easy these hoses are to change without at least removing the thermostat housing.

While you're at it you may want to just remove the 2 coolant elbows and change the gaskets.

I believe you could remove the manifold without removing the injectors. I ended up pulling the injectors and testing them to ensure they operated properly.

I also replaced the rubber blocks that the injectors mount in to. Mine were starting to crack and you could also see fuel leaking up past the injector. There would be 4 gaskets under the blocks as well.

OK, I finally got all the hoses and am planning to replace them in a week. What I need help with is
a) thorque required to tighten the manifold nuts?
b) do I really need to use gasket sealant on the gaskets?

Guys are the injectors suppose to wiggle? If not, then do I need to replace the rubber blocks. This is without loosening the nuts holding down the blocks. Please advise......

No. Generally, you need to replace the "rubber blocks" unless they were recently replaced because they will be "undersize" regardless.

Is there a need to apply gasket sealant on the 4 intake manifold gaskets?

Thanks Art, the reason I wanted to know was because the ones I took off were stuck to the manifold and I had to scrape them off. Thanks again.
