Paul,
John Freeman has that ex Japan ex Perth RHD car that was on this website a few years ago. I don't know the chassis number and I don't recognize it in your pictures. Is it there or do you want me to check with John? Art |

Art,
please investigate, then I haven't a SWB connected to his name.
here some SWB-dividercars which are not identified yet ...
older as 000642: Madrid

1965 ex Guatamala car now identified as 000432

1967 Japan

1973 Hong Kong

other Hong Kong car (or possible the same as above)

unknown car possible in Belgium now identified as 2216 Japan

still unknown (without wheelfenderchrome):

Grand Canaria : car is now identified and added

japan

littlefield collection now identified as 000432

Meilenwerk Berlin, must be 000072

Taiwan

Germany Stuttgart with DIESEL-ENGINE ....

new added unknown :

Any help is welcome
As I count well that are 46 Vinnumbers and 13 cars plus 3 unknown on the next page plus 3 cars on page 3 unknown cars, so over 50 cars until now......
The earlier showed german car with License B-WW600H is deleted, because it is car 000072, today (for sale) with englisch licenseplate. |

John Freeman was telling me he bought his SWB as a parts car but i's in such good condition it has remained untouched . He is too tall to drive it...

I will have a VIN and pictures of a SWB divider car soon. I am hoping tomorrow, but we shall see what happens. Might take a few more days.

All the dividercars, you mentioned, were already in the overview.

I have not more pictures of the Shah's SWB then those two.

Do you know if the Shah's SWB was an USA version or an European version converted to USA version like the SWB belonged to the Iranian Embassy in Paris?

The blue Iranian Embassady car is claerly NO US-car but changed some outer look-signs to US-specs. The Iran Shah's car seems/looks to be also a US-specs-converted car, but I have no Info yet. In the auction in 2004 it was claimed to be armoured with 3/52 steel, whatever that should be ?? The car has red leather inside.

I have a doubt...
Do you know the year of the white SWB that belonged to the Shah? Are you sure that it was owned by the Shah? I guess that maybe this car didn't belong to the Shah, because the Shah hadn't house in USA (the Shah and Empress Farah had "Villa Suvretta" in Saint Moritz only).
Maybe this car belonged to Ashraf Pahlavi (the twin sister of the Shah) who worked in New York as ambassador of Iran in the UN or to Ardeshir Zahedi (the ex-husband of Shahnaz Pahlavi, eldest daughter of the Shah), ambassador of Iran in USA.

july or aug 65. That is not white but beige 158 .... Info came only from the auctionhouse in Califotnia.
The headlights on the car don't belong to that date and are from a later car or retrofitted.

Hi Karl, I found it on the internet:
Send you the link. BTW: it is definitly a eurospec-car It cost me TWO years of digging
But I am glad you are reading here. The more enthousiasts the better. I just read it has only 17 K Km, half as much as mine also unrestaured divider-car 2484 .....
with kindly regards |
